Grants That Sustain Retirement, Health, and Stability
Faithful ministry requires both calling and support. Explore grant opportunities that provide compassionate financial assistance to ministry leaders and churches navigating transition, hardship, and growth, helping build stronger foundations for lasting impact.

Financial Resources Rooted in Care, Commitment, and Continuity
Grants offered through the Pension Boards help promote financial stability, peace of mind, and well being throughout retirement and beyond—supporting individuals across predictable needs and unforeseen moments.
Overview
Financial Resources Offered with Dignity
The Pension Boards and our partners in the United Church of Christ offer grants that provide financial resources for retirees, surviving family members, and persons receiving disability benefits. These grants are designed to strengthen retirement income, help maintain health coverage, and respond during times of unexpected hardship—reflecting our enduring commitment to those who have served faithfully.
How Grants Work
Each grant category addresses a distinct type of financial need—ongoing, health related, or urgent. Together, they form a collaborative approach to promoting steadiness, dignity, and financial continuity throughout retirement.
Our team is here to help you or your colleagues in ministry navigate these resources with care and clarity. We will take time to understand a candidate’s circumstances, explain which grants may be the best fit, and serve as a step by step guide through the application process. Whether exploring options for the first time or responding to a change in situation, faithful servants do not have to figure this out alone.
From answering questions to coordinating next steps, our goal is to make the process as approachable, respectful, and supportive as possible—so those who serve can focus on what matters most.
